Explore hidden secrets of south Texas' native plants!
Discover the many usages of our native plant species, learn about the important role they play in our ecosystem, and explore the park on our native plant walking tour. The native plant talk will be first and then afterwards we will go on our native plant tour which will be about 1 mile round trip.
When: 2:00pm-3:00pm
Where: Recreation Hall
Bring: Closed-toed shoes, hydration, and bug repellant. This program is outdoors, please dress for the weather and wear sun protection.

FYI:
- Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. Children under two years of age must be seated on the lap of a guardian.
- Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.
- Large groups please contact Sara Rock for a private event.
- Program may be canceled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
