Scenic Overlook Nature Hike

Join us on the first three Thursdays of each month for an easy nature hike with a beautiful view!

Join a Texas Master Naturalist to learn about local geological features, the importance of water, and local flora and fauna. This easy trail is less than 3/4 mile long and mostly level with some rocky areas. All ages and friendly dogs on leash are welcome!

*No hike on 12/07; resumes 12/14*
*Note: there will be no hike on 01/18 as the park will be closed for a public hunt*

No need to register- just show up!

*This hike is great for homeschool groups during the school year!*

Meet: Outside the Discovery Center
Bring: Sturdy footwear, water, and sun protection
Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free
