Enjoy a special hike in this protected area!

Start 2020 off right -- outdoors!

Join us for an afternoon hike into the protected Honey Creek State Natural Area. Access to this area is limited to guided hikes only, so you won't want to miss it! We will hike to the pristine Honey Creek, and along the way we'll find out about some of the special natural and cultural history of the area. Cameras welcome!

No dogs, please.

This easy to moderate hike is about 2 miles round-trip. Trail is mostly level, with some rocky areas and one fairly steep hill.

Meet at the Rust House (inside Guadalupe River State Park) at 3:30 pm sharp!

Park programs are free with Texas State Parks annual pass or entrance fee - $7 per person ages 13 and up, kids 12 and under are free.

**Save the date! Reserve your spot online ahead of time to guarantee your entrance to the park -- even if it closes for capacity. You can do this up to 30 days in advance with your credit card, or for free with your Annual Texas State Parks pass:
