Join us for a guided walk to the beautiful Honey Creek to learn about both the natural and cultural history of the area. This two-hour hike begins at the Rust House inside the park. This hike is free beyond the park admission of $7 per person 13 and over (free with a current TPWD Park Pass) and a requested donation of $2 per person to the Friends Group. If it is raining call the park at *830) 438-3085 for hike status. Cameras are welcome, binoculars encouraged.

Please Note: We advise everyone to wear long pants and close-toed shoes to deal with rocky trails and tall vegetation.

Please Note: No pets are allowed in Honey Creek SNA, including on the hike.

Please Note: Be sure to bring water and a hat for this two-plus mile hike.

**Please note: On busy weekends in spring and summer, the park often reaches Day Use capacity and will close, not reopening until 4 pm. If you are coming out for the day on a weekend, we recommend that everyone, including Annual park pass-holders, “save the date” online ahead of time - this can be done up to 30 days in advance with a credit card, or your annual park pass.
