Atlatl and Dart Throwing

Stop by to learn about one of the oldest hunting devices, the atlatl, and then try your hand at using one!

Notes: (1) You'll need to sign a waiver to participate. (2) In the event of inclement weather, this program may be changed or cancelled.

Who: All ages are welcome. However, due to the length of the darts, this activity is best for ages 10 years and up.

When: Ongoing between 1:30pm and 3:30pm.

Where: Dart throwing will be located in the field beside the wildlife viewing area (near HQ).

Cost: Program is free with park admission. Day use reservations can be made online or by calling (512) 389-8900.
