Stop by to practice your casting skills & learn about aquatic wildlife. No experience or gear required!
How many fish can you catch? All ages are welcome to participate. A ranger will be available to help and answer questions.
Note: This activity uses real rods/reels (which are provided) but does not involve real fish or water.
When: Ongoing between 9am and 11am.
Where: A ranger will be in the a shaded area in the Bar-O day use area (near HQ).
Cost: Program is free with park admission. Day use reservations can be made online or by calling (512) 389-8900.
Reminder: Please dress for the weather and bring/drink plenty of water.
