Declaring a Gall to Action: America 250

HCSNA Wants You! Band together with Hill Country State Natural Area and join forces with Ranger Augie as he demonstrates the process of making gall ink! This is the same type of ink used to sign the Declaration of Independence in 1776! Enlist in the event to put quill to parchment!
When: Saturday, July 4, 2026, 9:00a.m. to 11: 00a.m
Where: Bar-O Day-use area adjacent to the Headquarters building.
Cost: Program fee is included with Day-use entrance fee. $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for Seniors with Parklands Partial Pass, children (12 yrs and younger) are no charge. Night activity fee may be required after 10:00pm. Reservations are recommended but not required:

What to bring: Comfortable attire, dress for the weather. Folding chair, insect repellent. Camera.
