First Day Hike - Merrick Mile Sunset

Start the new year with a guided hike through the hill country.
Enjoy a short scenic hike along Merrick Mile trail as the daylight turns to twilight.
The hike does include mild elevation changes with some rocky and uneven walking surfaces.
Distance: 1.2 miles
Where to meet: In front of HQ
Reminders: Bring water and dress for the weather. Wear comfortable shoes for hiking. Bringing a flashlight is recommended if staying in the park after the hike.
Cost: Program is free with park admission ($6 for visitors 13 years and up; free for visitors 12 years and younger; free to State Park Pass holders). Day-use reservations are highly recommended to ensure your entrance to the park.
Note: Hikes are subject to change in the event of rainy weather.
