SORRY, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. As John Muir said “In every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks.” Join us on our guided nature walk, exploring the diversity of the Hill Country. (Events may be cancelled with rain or wet trails. Call first!)

Plants of every size and color are scattered all over theses limestone hills.  We invite you to come see them and learn more about them.

Ranger Leanne is your guide.  Come to teach and learn together.

• February--- Late Winter! Signs of Spring!
• March--- Early Spring Blooms! Trees and shrubs in color!  
• April --- Wild flower Month!  See six dates offered! Come often and watch as each species adds its color to the landscape.                                              NEW! 

May 21 and 22---Ethnobotany--How people have used the native plants.  Outdoors but no hike.

Sun June 18 and Tues June 20  Ethnobotany Program--How native people used native plants.  Outdoors, but no hike

 Wear sensible shoes, layered clothing and a hat or cap. 

  1. Bring field books, cameras, and water and a friend. 
  2. Arrive early enough to register before 10 o'clock start time.
  3. Day-use entry fees apply. Bring a picnic and stay all day on your own!
