Join us for a night stroll to search for night crawlies!
- Mothing Sheet: a white sheet with UV light attracting moths
Join rangers and our expert friends from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) as we stroll through the park campground and explore the night life, plus listen out for nocturnal critters and enjoy the crisp night.
This will be a ~0.5 mile easy, ground-level walk. Walk starts at 7:30pm, plan to arrive for registration no later than 7:00pm. The gate will be open for registration and will be closed until the end of the hike. No late arrivals will be accepted and no early releases.
What to Bring:
- Close-toed shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Snacks and Water
- Red lights (to preserve night vision)
- Sense of curiosity
