BOO-gill Fishing and Haunted Boathouse
Sat, October 24, 2026
Join us for a spooky evening of night fishing and brave the creepy crawlies that slither through the Boathouse.
Join our partner Fishings Future for fishing in the dark and fun activities at night. Rods and bait will be provided, and no fishing license is required in a Texas State Park.
Walk through our Boathouse as it transforms to host that which people can fear the most. Maybe learn a thing or two about what terrifies us in the woods and how we might learn not to fear it.
This program is free with your day pass. Please wear/bring weather appropriate gear. This program is weather dependent, follow us on Facebook for the latest. The haunted boathouse will not have jump scares but will feature live and models of residents of the park some people may have fears of. This program is accessible with nearby parking, sidewalks and ramps.
