🎉 Bring your non-motorized watercraft (canoes, kayaks, paddleboards), or borrow one of ours, for a celebration at the lake.

Texas State Parks centennial logoCome join us as we try to see just how many paddle crafts we can get in the lake at one time, right here at Inks Lake State Park!

The parade will follow the new paddling trail from the Park Store to the South Fishing Pier and back. There might also be races planned at various times for those with a need for some competition (dependent upon weather conditions and safety considerations).

Meet behind the Park Store and by the boat ramp at 9 am for an introduction, followed by the water festivities. The event will officially wrap up at 2 pm but you can still borrow boats until 3pm, with all boats due back by 4pm.

This is one of many 100-year celebration events happening in Texas state parks this year. Entry to a park is free on the day it hosts an official 100-Year celebration event (applies to day passes only).

Guarantee entry by reserving your free day pass up to one month before this special event. Our normal capacity limits will be in place so it is imperative that you purchase your Day Pass in advance to guarantee entry to the event.

Please note: You do NOT need to register for this event, just be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.

We will have a limited supply of canoes/kayaks for loan and they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis that morning.

Don't forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for all the latest information about park events!
