Hike like a Geologist

Take a hike through time as a Geologist would, and learn how to make any hike a GEOLOGY HIKE!

Come and enjoy a guided hike down to the Devil's Waterhole and then along the Valley Spring Creek Trail where we will explore the amazing Geology in the park and learn how a Geologist goes on a hike. 

Difficulty: Moderate 

Length: 1.2 miles, but the hike itself can take 90 minutes because of the educational aspect. 

Meet: At Devil's Waterhole Trailhead Parking Lot

Bring: Water, closed-toe shoes

Cost: Free with park admission, and park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: You do not need to register or make a reservation for this event, just be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
