Join us for crafts and eclipse viewing at Central Park.
Join Ranger Jamie and volunteers in Central Park for solar-related arts and crafts both before AND after viewing the partial annular eclipse.
- 9am-Make an eclipse viewer
- 10am-1pm-Safely look through a telescope with a solar filter to witness the partial annular eclipse!
Note: there will only be ONE telescope so be prepared to be patient! :)
- 2pm-Use solar paper to create some cool art
Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event, just be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
