Holiday Festival of Lights

If you're camping with us on Dec. 16, please bring holiday decorations to brighten up your campsite!

Come one, come all, to our THIRD- ANNUAL Holiday Festival of Lights. We invite campers to decorate their campsite the weekend before Christmas in the spirit of the holidays. Several park employees and volunteers will act as judges with prizes for the best decorated sites! The first place winner will receive a Texas State Parks Gift Card equal to the cost of an Annual Pass! WOW!!!! *Judging will start at 6pm on the Dec. 16. 

For those who live nearby, feel free to take a drive around our campground to marvel at the decorations and lights put up by our campers. Imagine thousands of twinkling holiday lights reflecting on the lake! *Visitors participating in the drive-thru must still stop and check in at Headquarters, and this will only be offered on the Dec. 16 from 7-8pm. 

Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day pass early online! Please note: You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event, just be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
