Look for birds at Lake Arrowhead State Park!

This morning walk is led by members of the Texas Master Naturalists: Rolling Plains Chapter. This is a great way to learn about birds in the area!

"This event is open to anyone interested in birds, whether a novice or an experienced birder. The walk is a slow meander fairly level ground over 1 – 1.5 hr. Total distance approximately 1 mi. Led by one of the Texas Master Naturalist members, the walk focuses on birds, but we’ll stop for anything interesting. Children welcome."

Meet: At the dump station in the campground loop

What to bring: Please dress for the weather, wear good shoes for walking/hiking, and bring water. Binoculars are recommended.

This program is free to attend with paid park entrance ($4 per adult, kids 12 and under are free).
