Fishing with a Ranger

Fish ID and fishin' basics!

Let’s learn some fishing basics and try to catch a fish. Extra poles provided; bait (worms) provided while they last. Loaner poles are available at park headquarters. Participants can bring their own tackle. No fishing license required while on state park property.

Meet: At the floating dock. Look for the ranger truck.

This program is free to attend with paid park entrance or a Texas State Park Pass.
