Campfire S'mores with a Ranger

Help us celebrate 100 s'more years of Texas State Parks!

What better way to celebrate the past 100 years of Texas State Parks and look forward to 100 more years than enjoying s'mores with family or friends?

Join us for a come and go event between 7:30 to 9 PM, weather permitting. We will have the campfire set up in day-use area by the Lakeview Loop Trailhead. Our expert rangers will be on hand to assist and answer questions around the campfire. S'mores supplies will be provided, so bring the whole family and create some wonderful memories together!

Entrance fees will apply, $5 for ages 13 and up, free for children 12 and under.

Texas State Parks will be hosting fun and unique s'mores celebrations across Texas on May 13. Guarantee entry by reserving your day pass up to one month before this special event.

If you can't make it to a park, join the fun by hosting your own s'mores get-together. Post a photo of your s'mores celebration on Facebook or Instagram @texasstateparks.org with the hashtag #100SmoreYears. This is one of many 100-year celebration events happening in Texas State Parks this year.
