*CANCELLED* Join us on National Trails Day to help us keep our trails safe and beautiful!
*This event has been cancelled due to forecasted weather*
*Registration required, max 40 participants. Call (325) 784-5223 to register*
Participants will help keep our trails in tip-top shape by helping with tree limb removal, trash cleanup, and erosion control on two of the trails in our park. Participating minors must be always accompanied by a parent or guardian during the event. We will meet at our HQ building at 8:30am, June 6th, where participants will be split into two groups. One group will be assigned to the Nopales Ridge Trail, the other will be assigned to our Texas Oak trail.
Please bring a refillable water bottle (water will be available in water coolers) and wear weather-appropriate clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. We highly recommend wearing a shade-providing hat and sunscreen as well.
A limited number of tools will be available, so please bring limb cutters, shovels, safety glasses, and work gloves for yourself if you have them! Please, do not bring any electric/gas power tools, mechanical hand tools only!
