100 S'more Years at Lake Corpus Christi Photo Competition

The heat is on!

What better way to celebrate the past 100 years of Texas State Parks and look forward to 100 more years than enjoying s'mores with family or friends?

Take a photo of you making or eating some delicious s'mores while at the park and post it on Saturday, May 13 for a chance to be crowned the Lake Corpus Christi S'mores Champion! 

To enter this competition, photos must be taken while in Lake Corpus Christi State Park and posted on Saturday, May 13, and posted to either Instagram or Facebook. Use the tags #TexasStateParks #100SmoreYears and #LakeCorpusChristiStatePark to be entered in the competition. The winner will be selected by park social media administrators the following day and the winning photo will be shared to the park's main social media accounts. 

• Photos not following the Texas Parks and Wildlife Social Media Comment and Privacy Guidelines will be disqualified from the competition.
• The winner of the competition wins bragging rights only. 

• Texas State Parks will be hosting fun and unique s’mores celebrations across Texas on May 13. Guarantee entry by reserving your day pass up to one month before this special event.

• If you can’t make it to a park, join the fun by hosting your own s’mores get-together. Post a photo of your s’mores celebration on Facebook or Instagram @texasstateparks.org with the hashtag #100SmoreYears.

• This is one of many 100-year celebration events happening in Texas State Parks this year.

• The winning photo will be selected on the basis of park social media administrators' preference.
