Join rangers to learn the basics of fishing and the fun that is the sport of fishing. Afterward, attendees will try out their new skills using provided poles and tackle. Bring your own bait.

Meet: Whitetail Run Day Use Area at the covered picnic tables. Look for the parked white TPWD truck.

Bring: Sun protection, water, and any additional bait you want to try. 

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is $5 for everyone 13 years and older, free for 12 and under.

• Due to the equipment used, this program is best suited for people ages 5+.
• Signup closes 5pm the day before the program.
