Are you a new birder and want to get out there to learn how to bird and ID? Are you an experienced bird watcher that just wants to go out with some fellow birders? This is perfect for you! All experience levels are welcome to this program. Come view a sample of birds from all over Texas at the park, which features a bird blind and bird feeders.

Meet: At the birding area. Park near the CCC Pavilion and walk down the Kiskadee Trail.

Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water, and binoculars. Other birding equipment like cameras are welcome, but not required. If you are a new birder and don't have binoculars yet, just let us know and we can have a pair set aside for you.

Distance: Walking upwards of 1 mile. If you would like to reserve our all-terrain wheelchair for this program, please email us.

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is $5 for everyone 13 years and older, free for 12 and under.

Note:  Due to limited day use numbers, it is recommended that you reserve your day use entry for this program. Bird calls, whistles, and playback will not be permitted. This program is weather dependent, and programs are subject to changes or cancellations. Call the park for the most up to date information.
