A Step Back in Time

If you're into history, this is for you, and the kids too! We were built almost 100 years ago; you get to experience 30's technology.

When: 10am

What to Expect: 

Read parts of an interview with a man who built our park, take the CCC oath, read old telegrams and maps, and write a letter to your family as if it's 1934. Learn to use a record player and typewriter (if the ribbon comes in time).

Last time, someone wrote their letter in morse code, so there's that option too!

This is a Ranger Talk held inside an air-conditioned historic building. Questions and local stories are welcome!
