Edible Plant Walk

Discover what fruits and flowers helped sustain the human race before the invention of Walmart.

What To Expect: Walk the Catfish Trail and examine what plants we have and what they are producing that humans can eat!

We can't actually eat anything on the state park due to protections of the land, but we will learn how to identify these foods and feel/smell them.

Where: Catfish Point Trail, parking by trailhead or at the bathrooms.
When: 9am-10am

Accessibility: Terrain is slightly hilly, paved parking is a block away, and nearby parking is on a slant and gravelly.

The GRIT all terrain wheelchair is available upon request.

The trail is a mile long.
