Volunteers are the backbone of Texas State Parks. Join this passionate and committed group of individuals by helping keep Lake Corpus Christi State Park beautiful.

July's Volunteer Work Day will focus on picking up litter in the park. We are a high visitation park, and as such we can have quite a collection of litter--all shapes, sizes, and materials! Best litter find gets a prize!

Meet: Outside Bass Point Day Use Area restroom.

Bring: Clothing that can get dirty, sun protection, insect repellent, water, and a snack. It will most likely be hot. Gloves, trash pickers, and trash bags will be provided by the park.

Cost: As a State Park Volunteer, you will get into the park for free. Those that volunteer for the whole work day (8:30am-10:30am) will be able to enjoy the park for the rest of the day for free!

Note: This program is weather dependent, and programs are subject to changes or cancellations. Call the park for the most up to date information. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children will also have to have a parent or legal guardian present to sign off on their participation.
