Wonders of the Night

Ever wonder what critters explore the park after dark?

Join a ranger for a night hike on Longhorn Trail to learn about, hear, and maybe even see some of the cool creatures that come out at night.

Meet: At the Longhorn Trailhead by the CCC Pavilion.

Difficulty: Longhorn Trail is rated as easy and we will be going out for 0.5 mile and back, for a total of 1 mile. If you would like to reserve the GRIT Freedom Chair for this program, please email us. 

Bring: Close-toed shoes, insect repellent, and water. Flashlights are not required for this program. Red-light flashlights are welcome!

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is $5 for everyone 13 years and older, free for 12 and under.

• All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 
• If no visitors show up by 15 minutes after the program start time, the program will be considered canceled.
