Discovery Walk: Pineywoods Boardwalk Nature Trail

Take a guided walk and discover the wonders of the forest!

Take a guided walk to learn about the plants and wildlife of Lake Livingston State Park. This walk will be conducted on the Piney Woods Boardwalk Nature Trail and can be completed in 1 hour. The trail is a 1 mile loop.

We recommend bringing a bottle of water and wearing comfortable, flat shoes when participating in any activity.  Restrooms are available at the Headquarters, Activity Center, Marina, and in each camping loop.

Regular park admission fees of $6 per adult ages 13 and up apply; no additional charge for activities.
No reservations necessary.
