Join a park ranger inside the nature center at Sunset Marina, (the park store) to create your very own nature journal!

Nature journaling can be many different things people. For some people it is a way to capture the feelings that an encounter made them feel.  For others it may be a sketchbook of their observations. Nature journaling can also be a way to learn about the world around you. For this program individuals will pick a creature, plant, or memorable experience from their stay at Lake Livingston and put it to paper. Field guides will be provided to help identify the things you saw, or help you remember what it looked like. The direction of your nature journal will be personal; there is no right or wrong way to journal.  After you finish your nature journal, you can explore the nature center, or go on a hike to start using your new journal!

Where:  Meet in the classroom at the park store, Sunset Marina.
