Walk down a 1/3 mile trail while reading a children's book!
Hike the 1/3 mile Oak Flats Trail while reading a children's book in this self-guided program. As you hike the trail you will read a book called ”The Leaf Thief” by Alice Hemming and Nicola Slater. The end of the book has excellent information on deciduous trees and why they lose their leaves. This shorter 1/3 mile trail is perfect for smaller children.
Regular park admission fees of $6 per adult ages 13 and up apply; no additional charge for activities. No reservations necessary.
