telescopesCome to the Lone Star Amphitheater where you can learn about astronomy and to have a chance to see the night sky through a wide variety of telescopes.

Beginner’s Astronomy -  presentation at sunset.

Dark Sky Kid's Corner - An area especially for children to have fun learning about conservation of the night sky.

Skytellers – Native American Stories of the Night Sky - Hear Native American stories and related modern science stories about the universe.

Held at the Lone Star Amphitheater in Lake Mineral Wells State Park, 100 Park Road 71, Mineral Wells, TX, 76067. Accessible for the mobility impaired. The program is free with paid park entrance fee or a State Park Pass.
