The star of Bethlehem. What was this star? What might it have been?

A common Christmas season story chronicles the star of Bethlehem that the wise men followed to visit Jesus. What was this star? What might it have been? Ray Benge, Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Tarrant County College, presents a possible astronomical event that may have been what the wise men were seeing. We will have a time of telescope observation of night sky objects, weather permitting.

Held at the Lone Star Amphitheater in Lake Mineral Wells State Park, 100 Park Road 71, Mineral Wells, TX, 76067. Accessible for the mobility impaired. The program is free with paid park entrance fee or a State Park Pass
