Join a ranger for a lively morning bird walk where we’ll try to spot the early risers! As we wander through the Post Oak Savannah, we’ll practice identifying species by sight and sound. Whether you’re an avian aficionado or someone who just likes to wing it, this easy walk offers a closer look at the park’s feathered friends.

When: Saturday, September 19 from 8:30 to 10am

Meet: Birch Creek Headquarters

Bring: Binoculars, water, cameras, closed-toe shoes 

This event is free with park entry: $5 per person, kids 12 & under free. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Day passes can be purchased at self-pay kiosks or ahead of time through our reservation engine.
