Hike for Your Health

Join us for a guided hike and discussion of the value of walking on your health.

Join one of our team members for a one-and-a-half-mile guided hike.  The hike is easy, but please note that the temperatures in October may still be warm.

During the hike, we will discuss the benefits of walking from the standpoint of longevity science, the concept and application of circadian rhythm in our daily lives, some approaches to creating and supporting healthy habits, and a few thoughts on the difference between a "past time" and a "practice."

Where: Meet at Family Fishing Pond

Small children may struggle with the distance of the walk and the high temperatures.  Dogs are welcome, provided that they are not disruptive.  However, we caution participants to be mindful of the effects of heat on their "fur babies."

Please wear sturdy walking shoes and bring adequate drinking water.  We highly recommend that participants arrive well-hydrated.
