Introduce your little explorers to the wonders of nature with this gentle 0.5‑mile guided hike designed especially for young children and their caregivers. Perfect for stay‑at‑home parents, guardians, and homeschool families, Tiny Trailblazers offers a relaxed, curiosity‑driven outdoor experience.
There’s no strict agenda—just time to wander, observe, and talk about the plants, animals, and natural features we encounter along the way. Children can explore at their own pace while adults enjoy a fun, easy outing in the fresh air.
Who: This program is designed for kiddos and their grown-ups. All minors must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program.
When: 8:30 to 9:30am
Meet: Honeybee Hill Trailhead
Bring: Water, bug spray, sunscreen, closed-toe shoes
Come ready to discover, imagine, and enjoy the trail together!
This event is free with park entry: $5 per person, kids 12 & under free. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Day passes can be purchased at our Self-Pay Kiosk or ahead of time on our reservation engine.
