Feel the magic of the Harvest Moon.

Join us for an evening under the night sky as we marvel at the Harvest Moon. A telescope will be set up for close-up viewing, giving participants a chance to see the moon's details in stunning clarity.

We'll also explore the significance of the Harvest Moon and why it has been celebrated across different cultures. This is a peaceful, educational, and awe-inspiring way to enjoy one of the most iconic full moons of the year. 

When: Saturday, September 26 from 7:45 to 9:00pm

Bring: Water, cameras, bug spray, lawn chairs 

This event is free with park entry: $5 per person, kids 12 & under free. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Day passes can be purchased at our Self-Pay Kiosk or ahead of time on our reservation engine.
