Birding the Two Bridges Trail

Explore the 1-mile trail with a master naturalist as you learn to identify birds by sight or sound. Join us for a fun walk and opportunity to learn something new or see a bird you have not noticed before.

We will introduce you to Cornell's free app to identify birds by sight and sound if you wish to download to your own phone.

Call (254) 694-3793 or email Ranger Rita to sign up. Group sizes will be limited to 15 to allow all to fit the trail space and hear the speaker.

Meet at the Two Bridges Trail by 9 am to start your adventure.

Bring your own binoculars if you have them. Beginner sets are available upon request for the first 11 that would like to use them.

You may also want to bring some water and wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.

Event is free with your paid park entry permit.  You may purchase online or at the office once it opens at 8:30 am.
