Spring Break fun at Lake Whitney State Park

Join us for some family fun at our Recreation Hall. Create an artwork masterpiece or learn about animals of the park or how to cast a pole for fishing! Perhaps you will tackle all of these fun activities today!

Art in the park stations will have all you need to create beautiful water-color designs or just use markers on pre printed designs if you like. You can also try ink stamping of animals and their tracks.

Animals of the park station is a touch and learn table displaying pelts, skulls, foot prints and more things about the critters you can see at Lake Whitney.

Backyard Bass fishing will be held in the front parking lot of the hall to give everyone a chance to use a pole properly as they cast to catch plastic fish and learn what fish they have caught.
