Wet your beak with this introductory bird walk!

Learn how to spot and identify our feathered friends that call Lockhart State Park “home” in this fun class.  We will practice bird ID as well as binocular skills and then take a bird walk to see how many birds we can find in the park.  Binoculars and ID guides are provided or you can bring your own.  All ages welcome!

Prepare:  Wear weather-appropriate clothes and sturdy shoes. No registration required.

Meet:  Meet in the day use area. If driving from park HQ, pass the pool and take your first right-hand turn into the picnic area parking lot.

Fees:  Regular park entrance fees apply ($3/adult, free for children 12 & under).
