Pokémon Safari Hike

Join us to catch some real-life Pokémon on this fun hike!

Pokémon are not the only creatures that “evolve” as they grow up. Just as Caterpie changes into Butterfree, so does a caterpillar change into a butterfly! Learn about these real-life Pokémon, and try to catch 'em all! All ages welcome.

Prepare: Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. Bring water and apply sunscreen or bug repellent, as needed. Hike will be 3/4-mile on moderate terrain. No registration required.

Meet: Meet your guide at the Creekview Trailhead. If driving from park headquarters, take your first left-hand turn, pass the campgrounds, and park along the paved loop.

Fees: To celebrate national Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend, this event is FREE for all current and future girl scouts and their families. Simply mention you are with (or interested in) Girl Scouts when you check into the park, and your entry fees will be waived! Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under.
