Winter Stargazing

Discover the wonders of the night sky! Drop in any time between 7:30-8:30pm.

The long winter nights are a perfect time stargazing, so come out the the park and enjoy the crisp temperatures, clear skies, and hopefully fewer mosquitoes. Join a Park Ranger for a telescope tour of the stars, planets, galaxies, and constellations that mark our winter sky! Drop in anytime between 7:30-8:30pm, weather permitting (at least 60% of the sky must be free of clouds).

Prepare: Bring blankets, coats, and other supplies for the cold! Binoculars and flashlights may come in handy as well. No registration required.

Meet: Meet us on the #1 fairway of our golf course! After entering the park, drive across the bridge, park along the road, and walk up onto the golf course -- look for our red Christmas lights.

Fees: Program is free with paid entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under. If our office is closed when you arrive, please use the self-pay station at park HQ to check into the park.
