First Day Morning Hike

Start your New Year off right with a morning hike at Lockhart State Park!

Join us to for a morning hike to ring in the new year!!  All ages and abilities welcome.

Prepare: Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. The hike is less than 1 mile (~0.8 miles) on moderately challenging terrain. No registration required.

Meet: Meet your guide at the Recreation Hall. After leaving Park HQ, continue straight on Park Road 10, across the creek and all the way to the top of the hill.  

Fees: This program is free with paid entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under. Since this program gathers before our office opens to the public, please use our self-pay station to check in.
