Self-guided Scavenger Hunt

Explore the park with a self-guided scavenger hunt and win a fun prize!

Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet from Headquarters and explore the park between Friday and Sunday. When you find something on the list, mark it off! When you find at least five different things on the list, make a stop at Headquarters and show them your checklist to get your prize! 

Prizes will only be available while Headquarters is open (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day). If you are camping with us, feel free to complete your scavenger hunt any time during your stay and bring it back to us during those hours. Prizes are available on a first come, first serve basis. Only one prize per person. 

When: September 25 - 27, while supplies last. Prizes available during Headquarters office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Where: All over the park! Start at Headquarters by picking up a scavenger hunt sheet.

Bring: Everything you need for your trip to the park. Lots of water, sturdy, comfortable hiking clothes and shoes, sunscreen and a hat, and bug spray if desired.

Cost: This program is free with admission to the park. Day passes are $6 per person 13 and older. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
