Basics of Hand Sewing

Join us as we learn the basics of hand sewing and mending.

We will share skills such as sewing on a button, repairing seams and patching holes.
Visitors are encourage to bring their own ripped or damaged clothes to learn how to repair it themselves.

Park will provide the following:

• Scissors
• Thread
• Fabric for patches
• Pins and needles
• Buttons (variety)

Where: Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm (all visitors must check in at the state park visitor center before coming to the farm)
When: 10am-noon
