Fishing with a Ranger

Wet a hook and learn a bit about fishing!

Join us out by the pier and try your hand at fishing the lake. Bring your own fishing equipment or we have a few loaner rods to share. 

• Date and Time:  Friday, August 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM
• Where:  Meet at Fishing Pier/Island Bridge
• Bring:  Bring water, dress for the weather, wear closed toe shoes and bug spray.
• Cost:  Program free with paid admission $4 for adults 13+ and FREE 12 & under (Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass)
