Look to the skies during peak hawk migration!
Join us Saturday, September 26 from 10am until the afternoon for the chance to see hundreds to thousands of migrating hawks. Learn about birds of prey and their benefits to the ecosystem.
A little cooperation from the weather can mean large numbers of hawks and other birds of prey flying over Martin Creek Lake State Park on the way to their southern wintering grounds.
Bring binoculars, a chair, sunscreen, water snacks, and keep a sharp eye on the sky. Meet at the Pier Area Day Use.
Free with paid admission to the park: $4 per person 13 and older; 12 and under are free.
