Why are these two important to us all?

Water is our most important resource.  Without it, plants, animals, and humans cannot survive.  We will use test kits to test the water from Martin Creek Lake.  We will learn about bugs that are indicators of a healthy lake.  We will talk about what we can do to conserve water  and protect this vital resource.  Learn how healthy water is not only important for aquatic life but also for animals out of water as well as for agriculture. Weather permitting we will use canoes/kayaks to take water samples.  We will also discuss how important water quality is to recreational activities.  Meet at the parking area behind the bathroom near the pier. Contact the office for directions.
