Slow down and enjoy the morning. We'll bring the bait and the poles! Join us for fishin' with a ranger.

Discover fishing basics and try your hand with a cane pole. We’ll bring the poles and bait, you just have to meet us there!

This program is suitable for all ages. We'll also bring our "Backyard Bass" casting game for folks to practice casting (without the consequence of hooks!)

When: 9am-11am

Where: Meet at Walnut Slough Day Use Area in the Walnut Ridge Unit.

Reminder: There are no restrooms near the Day Use Area so plan accordingly.
