Experience an up-close encounter with Dexter, the corn snake, and discover all about local snakes.
Explore the park's slithery-est reptiles, the snakes! We'll discover what makes a reptile unique, and meet one up close. Ask lots of questions during this close up experience.
On the first and third Saturdays of the month, this program will include a feeding demonstration. See this natural predator in action and discover how snakes survive in the wild.
When: 1pm
Where: Across the street from the Education Center at Walnut Ridge Unit of the Park.
Cost: This event is free with the purchase of a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass.
