Colorful fish printsCome by the nature center to learn the Japanese art of Gyotaku, otherwise known as fish prints. This is fun for kids of all ages. You can be serious and paint the fish realistic or fun creative colors. When you leave to take your fish painting with you as evidence of the cool fish you "caught" while camping at Martin Dies, Jr. State Park.

Where: At the nature center on the Walnut Ridge Unit

When: 2 pm

What to bring: Everything will be provided, but wear clothes that you won't mind getting washable paint on.

There is no fee for attending this program; however, payment of park entrance fees are required. Entrance fees are paid at Park Headquarters or the self-pay stations and are $4 per person over the age of 13, children 12 and under are free.
