Homeschool Program - Phenology Wheels

10:00a to 12:00p

Combine nature observation and art to make a phenology wheel.

Join Ranger Amy to learn about phenology by making a phenology wheel!papers with phenology wheels on them

Phenology is a great way to observe the natural world and become aware of seasonal or daily changes in the environment. With phenology, your child can become a citizen scientist by adding their observations to an on-line database or they can take a more artistic viewpoint and use their daily nature observations to make haikus and drawings.

No matter what type of phenology wheel they choose to do, phenology will help your homeschool children to connect to the outdoors in a way that's more investigative and personal.

Space is limited so please sign-up online ahead of time.
